New 2010 Summer Membership Opportunity!
Phoenix Rising is offering a new membership option, a 12 Week Summer Term! The fee is $100. per month for studio use. General shop supplies are included in this fee, however, paper is not provided.

Membership Options
Phoenix Rising offers two different levels of membership to accommodate the needs of area artists. We also offer hourly/daily rates for printing at our facility for non-members.

Artist Membership
For experienced printmakers interested in frequent access to our facilities: Interested artists are encouraged to attend one of our monthly meetings to share their work with our members. Membership renewed yearly.
Cost: $75 per month.
  • Use of facility when workshops are not in session
  • Participation in member exhibits and yearly sale
  • Exposure to visiting artists at workshops and demonstrations
  • Access to shared shop materials and other supplies available at cost
  • Participation in management of cooperative

Associate Membership
For artists interested in limited participation at Phoenix Rising: Membership renewed yearly.
Cost: $75 per year.

Benefits

  • Two days of printing at Phoenix (limit: 6 hours per day) or one free workshop
  • Discounted shop fees apply after initial 2 free days, Daily rate: $50, Hourly rate $10
  • 10-percent off any additional workshops
  • Invitations to participate in select member exhibitions and sales
  • Receive all Phoenix mailings, newsletters and show announcements

Non-member Printing Fees
Non-members must schedule printing time in advance and hours are subject to shop monitor availability.
Daily Rate (limit: 6 hours per day): $100. Hourly Rate: $20.
Student and Recent Graduate Membership Opportunities
A reduced rate, short term Student Membership is available for those with an interest in
  • printing during the summer months
  • completing a specific printing project
  • preparing a print portfolio for graduate school enrollment.

This membership fee is $150 for 12 consecutive weeks.

Benefits include:

  • access to the facility, access to shared shop materials (does not include paper)
  • exposure to working artists

Requirements:

  • Upper level undergraduate, recent graduate or graduate student
  • Informal portfolio review with a current Artist Member
  • List of 2 faculty or professional references

Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative offers Columbus College of Art Design (CCAD) Students and students from local universities both Internship and Volunteer Opportunities. For more information, download an application:
